This gracious Bay Area kitchen exemplifies the possibilities when one combines beautiful materials.  The Sarancolin marble counter tops are fabricated with particular attention to the movement of the stone.  Veins are symmetrical around the cook top and continue to carry the eye around the room.

Ann Sacks dimensional stone tile is anchored with small vertical bars on the backsplash.  The focus of the area becomes the pewter hood, which mimics the pewter in each ceiling coffer.
