This gracious Bay
Area kitchen exemplifies the possibilities when one combines
beautiful materials. The Sarancolin marble counter tops are
fabricated with particular attention to the movement of the
stone. Veins are symmetrical around the cook top and continue
to carry the eye around the room.
Ann Sacks dimensional stone tile
is anchored with small vertical bars on the backsplash.
The focus of the area becomes the pewter hood, which mimics the
pewter in each ceiling coffer.
Cabinetry paneling
and bead board is finished with a custom glaze of off-whites,
and a cherry bar top compliments the whole. This kitchen would
be at home equally in Nantucket, or here in Marin. |
